Proper installation of thermal resistors can reduce measurement errors

The installation of thermal resistance should not affect the operation and production of the equipment, pay attention to the accuracy of temperature measurement, safety and reliability and convenient maintenance. To meet the above requirements, pay attention to the following points when selecting the installation site and insertion depth of the thermal resistance


1. In order to make the measuring end of the thermal resistance and the measured medium have sufficient heat exchange, should reasonably choose the location of the measuring point, try to avoid installing the thermal resistance near the dead corner of the valve, elbow and pipe and equipment.


2. The thermal resistance with protective sleeve has heat transfer and heat loss. In order to reduce measurement error, the thermocouple and thermal resistance should have sufficient insertion depth:


(1) For the thermal resistance measuring the temperature of the fluid in the center of the pipeline, the measuring end should be inserted into the center of the pipeline (vertical installation or inclined installation). If the pipe diameter of the measured flow body is 200 mm, the thermal resistance insertion depth should be selected 100 mm;


(2) for high temperature, high pressure and high speed fluid temperature measurement (such as the temperature of the main steam), in order to reduce the resistance of the protective sleeve to the fluid and prevent the protective sleeve fracture under the action of the fluid, the shallow insertion of the protective tube or the hot sleeve type thermal resistance can be adopted. Shallow plug type thermal resistance protection sleeve, the depth of the main steam pipe should not be less than 75mm; The standard insertion depth of hot - sleeve resistors is 100mm.


③ If it is necessary to measure the temperature of the flue gas in the flue, the diameter of the flue is 4m and the depth of the thermal resistance is 1m.


(4) When the depth of the measurement component is more than 1m, it should be installed vertically as far as possible, or install a support frame and protective sleeve.
