Description

Platinum-rhodium wire is a platinum-based rhodium-containing binary alloy, which is a continuous solid solution at high temperature. Rhodium can improve the thermoelectric potential and acid corrosion resistance of the alloy to platinum. There are alloys such as PtRh5, PtRhl0, PtRhl3, PtRh30 and PtRh40. Alloys with more than 20% Rh are insoluble in aqua regia. Mainly used as thermocouple materials, including PtRhl0/Pt, PtRh13/Pt, etc., used as thermocouple wires in thermocouples, to directly measure or control fluids, steam and gases in the range of 0-1800°C in various production processes temperature of medium and solid surfaces.

advantage:

In the thermocouple series, platinum rhodium wire has the advantages of high accuracy, good stability, wide temperature measurement area, long service life, and high temperature measurement upper limit. It is suitable for oxidizing and inert atmospheres, and can also be used in vacuum for a short time, but it is not suitable for reducing atmospheres or atmospheres containing metal or non-metal vapors.

Industrial thermocouples have platinum rhodium wire B type, S type, and R type. Platinum-rhodium thermocouples are also known as high-temperature precious metal thermocouples. Platinum-rhodium can be divided into single platinum-rhodium (platinum-rhodium 10-platinum-rhodium) and double platinum-rhodium (platinum-rhodium 30-platinum-rhodium 6). They are used as temperature measurement sensors, usually with temperature Transmitters, regulators and display instruments are used together to form a process control system to directly measure or control the temperature of fluids, steam and gas media and solid surfaces in the range of 0-1800°C in various production processes.

Industries used are:

Steel, power generation, petroleum, chemical industry, glass fiber, food, glass, pharmaceutical, ceramics, non-ferrous metals, heat treatment, aerospace, powder metallurgy, carbon, coking, printing and dyeing and other almost all industrial fields.
