Description
Armored thermocouple cable, commonly known as armored wire, is also known as inorganic insulated thermocouple cable internationally. With the advantages of pressure resistance, shock resistance, flexibility, miniaturization, and fast thermal response time, it is the core material for manufacturing armored thermocouples.
Product Standards
1. Inexpensive metal armored thermocouple cable implements JB/T 8205-1999 and GB/T 18404-2001
2. Precious metal armored thermocouple cable executes JB/T 8909-1999
3. Armored platinum-rhodium 30-platinum-rhodium 8 thermocouple cable implementation QB / T 2405-2004
Thermoelectric characteristics and tolerances:
Armored thermocouples made of armored thermocouple cables of different types, when the reference terminal is 0°C, the thermoelectromotive force should comply with GB/T 16839.1-1997 "Thermocouple Part 1: Indexing Table", different grades are allowed. The difference should meet the requirements in Table 1-3.
Insulation resistance:
The insulation resistance should be measured between the even wire and the even wire and between the even wire and the outer casing. For cables with an outer diameter less than or equal to 1.5mm, the voltage used is 75±25Vd. ±50Vd.c. The insulation resistance per meter at room temperature and the insulation resistance per meter at high temperature shall comply with the requirements in Table 1-4.
Note: Armored thermocouple cables of other materials and outer diameters can be provided upon negotiation between the supplier and the buyer.
